Jon May is a close friend of mine for 10+ years since collegiate years at FAMU. (he even referred me to my job Google!) This month is important to several family and friends worldwide, especially for Jon because he recently discovered his mother is diagnosed with Stage 2 of Breast Cancer.
His mother is going through A stage IIB breast tumor is bigger -- it may be the size of a walnut or as big as a lime. It has been confirmed she has lymph nodes.
Unfortunately, reconstructive surgery and holistic care are not covered by her insurance; so The May Family will likely need home assistance care to support tasks that require strenuous work.
The goal is to raise $3,000 for The May Family home assistance care by Friday October 25, 2019 as a gesture to celebrate Jon's 30th Birthday .
