Jon and Farah's fund for Green Card

Spende geschützt
Farah and I met eachother while in service for the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cuernavaca Mexico. She and I started talking shortly after her return from missionary service, and we started a long-distance relationship. We were in a long distance relationship (Farah in Mexico, me in the U.S.) for about 6 months before I paid for a trip to go see her. We had an amazing time and even talking about getting married. After returning home. I got a ring and without delay bought my second set of flight tickets to go see her again. I proposed to her in October of 2016. Afterwards, came all the costs of paperwork for the fiance visa and getting her up to the United States. It was hard, but she was able to come up on a tourist visa in December while we waited for the Fiance visa to get married. We originally planned the wedding in March 2017, but we had to delay it since the visa didnt come through. We set it at the end of April, and still couldnt make it due to visa problems (again!). We were able to get married just barely on the 14th of July, with esentailly nothing in our pockets. Now that Farah and I are married, I am the only one eligible to work. We can barely pay rent with my income, and we have to pay the government $1225 dollars for Farah's green card, and $535 to apply for a work permit.

Both Farah and I would be immensly grateful to anyone who could donate to this new marriage. Best wishes.
