Allow us to share a story about our cherished friend and family. Our collective goal is to alleviate the financial strain caused by their medical circumstances. “JoJo Has To GoGo” In Garland, everyone knows Phonexay Fongvilay, aka “Big Noy.” People who knows her, knew about her incredible breakdancing skills back at Liquid on Friday nights. Beyond her passion for dance, Big Noy’s heart lies with taking care of her dogs and tending to her beloved plants. When she’s not busy with her furry companions and greenery, she embraces life to the fullest by spending time with her friends and family, while cherishing every moment. Life was good and steady, but on May 24, 2023, Big Noy’s life took an unexpected turn. She decided to slow down a bit due to health concerns. After undergoing various tests, “JoJo”, the name she playfully gave her cancer, revealed the challenging reality - stage 4 Esophageal and Esophagogastric Junction Cancers. This rare and incurable cancer is aggressive, having spread to her liver. Despite its severity, Big Noy remains determined to fight. The odds are tough, with a five-year survival rate of only around 5-10%. However, with treatments, there is hope to prolong her life and improve its quality. Big Noy’s journey demands not just medical support but also financial stability. Here in a few days, we’ll be setting up a go fund me account and will be hosting a fundraising popup @strangewaysdallas to raise funds for our sister Big Noy. Your generous support, love, and donations can make a significant difference in her battle against this relentless disease. Together, we can help Big Noy face this challenge with strength and courage, granting her more time to embrace the joys of life she holds dear.
