Join Team McGee: Fight Against Cancer

Dear family, friends, and kind hearted strangers,

I am reaching out on behalf of two of the most special people, Corey & Michelle McGee. On February 21st, their world was turned upside down when Corey got some news that no one ever wants to hear. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Carcinoma that has metastasized to his spine and lymph nodes. On February 23rd, he was admitted to Midstate Medical Center due to the excruciating pain in his back, where he remained for 2 weeks on palliative care. During that time Corey went through numerous CT scans, blood-work, and was on pain management to keep him comfortable. On March 11th, he started chemotherapy along with IV treatments that he receives every 21 days.

Corey is a devoted husband to Michelle and father to his son Hayden, and would do anything for anyone. As Michelle stays by Corey's side taking care of him, she is also trying to hold everything together. The emotional weight is already unimaginable, and the financial strain of medical bills, household expenses, and lost income are just the beginning of what Michelle and Corey are going to endure. They need our help to ease the financial burden during this difficult time; any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference.
