Help Rashmi Fight Breast Cancer and Achieve Her Dream of Becoming a Nurse

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters, My name is Rashmi Dangol a Resident from Lacey, Washington. I am 30 years old, a dedicated Mental Health Technician and a Medical Assistant, and someone who has always been passionate about helping others. Early last year (2024), I proudly began Nursing school in Winter 2024 At South Puget Sound Community College , taking the first steps toward my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. It’s a dream inspired by my commitment to caring for people during their most vulnerable moments, offering them comfort, hope, and healing. Recently, my life took an unexpected and devastating turn. I was diagnosed with stage early Stage of breast cancer, and my treatment plan includes a mastectomy scheduled for February 3rd 2025. This will be an intensive 8-hour procedure during which the medical team will also perform a 2nd biopsy on the lymph nodes in my left side to determine if the cancer has spread to other parts of my body. This diagnosis has been overwhelming, and I am anxiously awaiting more clarity on my condition. The challenges I face have forced me to put my nursing education on hold and limit my work, which has only added to the financial burden of medical bills, treatment costs, and living expenses. Despite the fear and uncertainty, I am determined to overcome this diagnosis, reclaim my health, and resume my journey toward becoming a nurse. I am reaching out to you, humbly asking for your support during this difficult time. The funds raised through this campaign will go toward:

• Covering medical expenses, including my mastectomy, biopsy, follow-up treatments Medications, Therapy, and recovery care.

• Supporting my living expenses while I recover because cannot work full-time.
