Hi family, friends, and well-wishers,
Our little Jedi, Jesse, was rushed to the ER of Texas Children’s Hospital on Saturday, July 7th. She had been lethargic that day and while on the way she stopped breathing twice.
Tests are still ongoing but since they have been there all signs and direction has been about PROGRESS and so far no regressive steps!
Update as of 07/10/18 –
Ruled out Meningitis and have pulled back on antibiotics! ID removed isolation status so now staff doesn’t need gowns every time they enter the room. Her blood transfusion was a success. Every new X-ray shows clearer, so the albuterol treatments are working and getting the congestion out. Per her Dr. they are letting our Jedi advise them of their next moves, as she gets better they will make moves according to her.The staff at Texas Children’s has been amazing at answering questions calming our worries and keeping us informed.
Thank you all for continued prayers we have a long way to go but so far we have been blessed with no setbacks since we walked into TCH.
The family is welcoming assistance for the forthcoming medical bills and for funds to be used for groceries, gas, and any future treatments from this stay.
