Join Brooke in Remembering Leroy

This fundraiser is to offset costs incurred for the Celebration of Life for Leroy Vanek in Tampa.

All funds will be directed to Brooke Vanek.

Leroy left us on June 14th and has left a void in our hearts, we are hoping to bring all of the friends together.

On July 21st we will be meeting at Rose Court Ballroom in Tampa to share in the memories and adventures of Leroy Vanek.

------ Message From Brooke ------------

I would like to start by expressing my sincere gratitude to everyone who has reached out to me in the past week. This has been one of the most challenging periods of my life that I have ever faced.. At no point would I believe that 2024 would include the loss of my husband, who I had some of my best adventures and most exciting memories with.

It has been wonderful to see all the beautiful posts from so many friends. The funny and crazy stories have been wonderful to reflect on. To those who have asked ‘how are you doing…’ I don’t know, this is still a bit unreal, it feels like suddenly he is going to just walk in and tell me this was just a bad dream and things are going to return to normal. I am just shattered….

For several years we have traveled to some of the most wonderful places and met amazing people, I am happy that I have those great memories. We did things that most people could only dream of. Now I am faced with the missed joy of the future…

On July 21st we will be having a Celebration of Life. Our space is reserved in the Rose Court Ballroom at 4934 E Busch Blvd, Tampa. The event will be from 2pm-6pm. This will be a potluck (or bottleluck) event. I am hoping that we can bring all our friends together to share in all the memories of his amazing life.
