Join Bentley's Battle with Chronic Kidney Disease

Bentley was born with a rare condition known as Eagle Barrett Syndrome or Prune Belly Syndrome. Bentley wasn’t supposed to make it past birth, but he has sure proved doctors wrong. He’s been a fighter since day one. Along with the Prune Belly Syndrome, Bentley has Chronic Kidney Disease. He only has one functioning kidney which has dilated. Bentley can urinate normally but hasn’t been emptying out completely.

Recently, he had what’s called an Appendicovesicostomy procedure, which was where they place a catheterizable stoma to help Bentley empty out his bladder more. We were released 5 days later and thought everything was fine, only to turn around and drive back to Cook Children’s two days later. We have now been here another 5 days with no discharge date as of now. Please keep the prayers coming.
