This Project is inspired by my 7 year old Daughter.
Jaida : " Dad did I tell you about my homeless idea!"
Me: "No, what is it about?"
Jaida: Well you know my friend Angelica who passed away from Covid, well I want to do something to help people who have less".
Me: "okay its a good idea but why do you want to help?"
Jaida: "well I was walking with Mommy in Manhattan and I saw this man with a mattress on the street and a blanket"
Me: "Hmm"
Jaida: " I was thinking since I have so much, an apartment, a house, and anything that I want, and that person doesn't have much and people did not treat him very nice"
Me: "So why do you feel like you should help?"
Jaida: " I don't know, if I was homeless"
Me: "don't say that..take it away, if someone was homeless"
Jaida: "okay, if someone was homeless and they wanted help, but didn't know how to ask for help we should help them, even if they don't ask"
Me: " I love the idea, what is the name of the project"
Jaida: "I don't know" slight pause to think. "JOHTHP"
Me: JOH..uhh what? What does that mean?
Jaida: " Jaida Offering Help To Homeless People"
Me: "So how much money you want to get to help?''
Jaida: " I don't know like ten thousand"
Me: " How would you use the money to help?"
Jaida: "Give them the money to get food so they can eat"
I share this story because the empathy my Angel shows for others in need with all the chaos 2020 shows me that how we view life and our mindset we can miss the simplicity of human kindness that can make a difference in someone's life. With that said we can help her reach her goal and follow the stories on
