Johnny's Medical Bills & Safe Return to USA

My name is Michelle Mata, my little brother Johnny needs help, he suffered a terrible accident while visiting family in Ecuador. Johnny was targeted as an American Citizen, by a criminal (who has since been arrested) that tried to rob him at gunpoint and in a desperate effort to escape, Johnny jumped out of a 3-story window. He suffered incredible trauma to his body, by the grace of God, he was taken to hospital for immediate surgery. Johnny had one surgery to piece together a broken pelvis and is scheduled for another surgery to address his broken tibia. Surgery In Ecuador must be paid in full. Both surgeries amount to approximately $8000.00. Johnny also requires a place to heal (Airbnb) and a private nurse to care for him before he is medically able to board a flight, to come back home to the united states (approximately 4 weeks) this additional expense amounts to $7000.00.

My mom and I are trying desperately to cover immediate costs, I am reaching out to help us as this is an expense that is beyond what we would have expected. Our family has been through a lot over the last couple of years.Johnny is an amazing brother, a caring uncle to my little boy and most importantly he is a great friend and has always been there for anyone in need. Our goal is $15,000, we still have not factored in the cost of bringing him home to us, but we will be grateful for any assistance.
