Johnny’s Blankets

This Christmas will be year 14 that my dear friend Nancy puts together a bag full of love and compassion for those in our community who are on the streets. Although a simple organic project, it has always been Nancy’s prayer that those people who randomly were given a bag, will receive an array of hope and know they are loved by God and people in the community. Now more than ever, especially during this pandemic, I want to make sure Nancy is able to collect everything she needs to hand out these bags.

Inside each Christmas bag, she puts two (2) p&j sandwiches, cookie, a bag of chips, 2 oranges, a Peppermint candy bar and a christmas napkin. She also puts a blanket and a bottle of Propel water. 

She plans to distribute over 100 bags this year.

She spreads the word of love. Not only do the bags get in the hands of the homeless but to anyone walking the streets on Christmas morning. We've also given them to a few police officers who this Christmas, will deserve them more than ever. ♡

We are in this together. ♡
