On May 11th the La Fountain family lost Johnny La Fountain beloved father, son, brother and husband. The world lost a sweet soul that brightened anybody’s life that was lucky enough to come in contact with him. If you met Johnny you liked Johnny. If you knew Johnny, you loved Johnny. You never smiled faster, laughed louder or hugged harder than when you spent time with him. Johnny's super power was.... you could not have a bad time with him around.
His love for people was only out done by his love for animals. He truly loved all Gods Creatures. Going to the La Fountain house is like going to the Zoo. He was an avid outdoors man and motorcycle rider. His amazing talent on a motorcycle both street and dirt led to his famous nickname “J Wheelie”.
He was also quite the artist. He was happy to make a custom wrench ring for anybody at no cost to them. Friends and family often received one of his famous metal creations. He could turn metal scraps/junk into a beautiful work of art that was made special for each recipient embodying that persons hobbies, personality or interest.
Johnny’s whole world was his 2 boys Mark (14) and JJ (13). The 3 of them had a special bond conceived and strengthened through their many adventures together. Not only did the boys lose their hero, friend and father the family lost their bread winner.
The loss of his salary leaves Jamie & boys with great financial hardship. This campaign is dedicated to the boy’s benefit. The funds raised here will be administered to the boys thru Aimee Ose (Johnny’s sister). Ideally half of it will be used for immediate financial assistance through this difficult transition, the other half will be set aside for the boys to receive at a later date for higher education or jump start to life.
