Joel Rodriguez was 19 of age. On September 28th, 2017 Joel and one of his close friends were in a fatal car crash. Joel suffered a severe brain injury which led to him being air lifted to the nearest hospital (Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center) where then he was pronounced dead. He was loved by many. He played a large role in the youth in his community encouraging younger children to achieve goals in a soccer career. He was an amazing team mate, friend,brother and son. We made this fundraiser to help his family with this hardship. We all would love to help with this unexpected circumstance. Any donation big or small would help tremendously. 100% of the proceeds will be donated on behalf of the Higinio Robsriguez his older brother to help with the cost of his service and other expenses they may have .
