Over the past few years I have helped thousands of people all over the world simply by sharing my story of addiction and other life experiences through music. A message that has inspired not only still suffering addicts but their entire families as well, from their children all the way up to their grandparents. Unfortunately due to a falling out with my former record label, they are now suing me for hundreds of thousands of dollars and have court ordered me to stop recording and performing recovery music. They have also ordered me to cease working with and helping people in the recovery community as a whole, claiming that they own the recovery music niche’. In court they made it very clear that the Recovery Community to them is nothing more than a profitable market and that my music and message of hope and inspiration is a direct threat to them. The Judge told me that without proper representation I would most likely not win this cased based on certain contractual agreements. I have researched and talked with a few entertainment attorneys and they are extremely expensive to say the least, but I am confident in my higher power and this community, and know in my heart that if we come together we can beat this. Not only so I can continue to share my music and message with the world, but so others can as well without having to worry about someone trying to silence their voice. I hate asking for help and apologize for making this but unfortunately there was no other options.
