Joe Blandino Memorial Scholarship

As many of you know, Joe Blandino was an alumnus if Iona Prep, and it was one of the most important parts of his life. He spent the last 11 years of his life dedicating his time, service, and most importantly love, to the Iona Prep community through the Father’s Council and beyond. Considering his spirit will live throughout the halls of Iona as much as it will the Bronx, we decided to do something he would be proud of.

I have spoken to my former educators at the Prep, and we decided that we are going to put into the works a scholarship that will be known as the Joseph Blandino Memorial Scholarship. Considering building a scholarship takes a lot of internal work, this GoFundMe page will be the first stepping stone to begin this scholarship conception. Every last cent of these proceeds will be used for this scholarship and this scholarship only. Iona Prep will be creating an official link soon via the school website to donate directly to the fund.

We once again want to thank all of our family & friends near and far for all of the love. We want to thank Iona Prep for taking part in what we know will be something wonderful. You are all such amazing, beautiful, and supportive people who we are beyond blessed to have in our lives.
