Jobs For Women Film Fundraiser

Imagine being refused for work just because you're a woman?

That happened to many women who applied for work at the Steel Works in Port Kembla during the 1970’s and 80’s.

A feature documentary about the epic (1980-94) struggle for the right for women to work at BHP’s Port Kembla steelworks is currently being filmed and edited, and we need your support to fund its production.

This is an important story to share for all women and for future generations of activists and unionists.

You can find more some background information about the film itself and the incredible story behind it here.

Any donation amount will be warmly received and will directly contribute to the making of the film.

Let’s make history together!
