Joannas Gender Affirming Surgeries!
Hey everyone! If you read the last update on our previous GoFundMe you know that things did not go as planned for Joanna with Vaginoplasty back in June. Due to the complications in June of 2022 Joanna will be having another surgery in order to correct what did not get done the first time. This December though Joanna will be undergoing both Labiaplasty (the second, less intensive step of vaginoplasty) as well as Breast Augmentation. As we have already reached our out of pocket limit for the year due to surgery last June, the cost here shouldn’t be that bad, apart from the copayment which we’re anticipating to be around $1200. Surgery next June should be covered almost completely as it’s an extension of the first attempt, but we will most definitely once again hit our out of pocket max from the hospital stay, which is about $4000 :(. These upcoming expenses in conjunction with the few sessions of facial electrology Joannas undergone in the last few months bring us once again to come to you lovely people for financial support. As of right now we don’t have enough to even cover December’s copayment. We are setting the goal at 8k, any excess not used on surgery and recovery will go towards facial electrology (the only permanent form of hair removal) which costs about $230 per 2.5hr session, Joanna will be needing at least 90+ hours to completely clear her face.
