Joan Archer Memorial Fund

We are the friends and family of Joan Archer who was tragically and unexpectedly taken too soon.  We are raising money to help with the mounting medical, funeral, and other expenses.  Joan was the link to the outside world for her husband since he is unable to care for himself.  This money will go towards his ongoing care.

Our dear friend Joan was involved in a horrible accident  on Monday June 14th.  She was killed while walking in a crosswalk by a driver.  This case is still an active investigation . 

Joan was an active member in her community for over 20 years.  Owner of JGA Antiques and a board member of Valatie Economic Redevelopment Association.  But she was more than that, she was a friend who was always there for you.  She always had a smile on her face, caring, smart and funny.  If you knew her, she was very compassionate to others and lit up a room wherever she was.  Beautiful inside and out.  She leaves behind a loving husband just short of their 50th anniversary, siblings, nieces and nephews, friends, and a community that is grieving.  She gave so much to us and now it's time to give back to her family in this desperate time of need. JGA Antiques  will be closing and having a sale to help with the fundraising.  Everything must go on July 24th & July 25th.
