Goodell Family Home Addition

Tami and Bill Goodell have worked hard their entire lives to build a life with their children and grandchildren. Despite a hectic schedule, “Gigi” always made time for her beautiful grandchildren. So, when Christian, Savannah, and Kelly lost their mother to cancer last year, she was determined to maintain a level of stability and joy in their lives. While all three children have remained resilient and smiling through such a difficult time, it was not the only challenge they were to face. Through unforeseen circumstances, the children’s father is no longer able to be present in their lives. No matter the challenge, Tami and Bill did not hesitate to take all three children into their home to provide the love and safety that they so desperately needed in their loss.

All three children are bright and joyful, filling the Goodell home with games, toys, and laughter. But, they have needs that are both unique and challenging. Both Christian and Savannah have serious medical conditions that require constant care and observation. This shared condition requires constant medical care and will likely require major surgery in the coming future. With all children being under the age of 11, this challenge has become a tremendous obstacle in the Goodell home. Tami and Bill continue to sacrifice their time and lifestyle to accommodate every need that presents itself, but it has taken a financial toll on the household.

While the family has unwavering support from friends, relatives, and their church family, they still need our help to meet the long term needs of the children.

At this time, Tami and Bill are humbly seeking any financial assistance that can assist with an addition being built onto their home. The addition has become a necessary decision to support the needs of the two disabled children. While they are managing at this time, the home will require this modification for the family to remain intact and functional. While it has been a challenge for them to ask and accept help, there are few more deserving after taking on such an enormous responsibility. But make no mistake, Gigi has never stopped demonstrating the lengths she will go to keep being the grandmother they all need and deserve.
