Jimmy Dufrene medical expense fund

Jimmy is in final stage lung failure and we have incurred lots of medical expense over the past 7 months. He is now on 3-4 liters of continued oxygen. I also had a major surgery this past January and still recuperating. The expenses of co-pays for testing, specialist, medicines, hospitals and travel expense continues to grow and has caused an extreme financial hardship on them. With Jimmy's SSI and my disability check there is not enough to cover all the medical expenses, after rent, and household cost. Jimmy was sent home from the hospital on February 11, 2017 and told to get his affairs in order.  I have applied for hardships and only a few bills were covered.   He is a Veteran but receives no financial help.  We have copays for any medications he gets.  He is on 18 prescriptions with monthly copays of $8.00 to 24.00.   So we are asking for any help that you can give to relieve some of this financial burden.
