It is with deep sadness we share that on Tuesday evening, May 5, Jim Trinacria unexpectedly lost his life in an accident. Jim worked as a Structured Risk Manager for the CT&I business unit and would have been with DLL for 16 years this June. Jim’s family has shared how proud Jim was to work at DLL. He resided in Philadelphia with his wife JoAnn, was the proud father of two daughters, and enjoyed being involved as a long-time mummer.
He was passionate about our mission and providing a high level of service to our vendors and customers. Highly respected by the sales and program management teams, he was frequently asked to travel with them to help facilitate new business. He was an instrumental part of the CT&I business unit growth during his time with DLL, helping to take the GBU from $1.7 billion in 2004 to well over $3 billion dollars today.
Jim was highly valued by his team. He cared deeply for each one of his members with a vested commitment to helping them advance their professional and personal growth. His passing leaves a significant void within the structured credit group and CT&I business unit. He will be greatly missed by all.

Trinacria, James J. “Tricky”, suddenly on May 5, 2020. Age 57. Devoted husband of Joanne (nee Devlin). Cherished father of Alyssa and Amanda. Son of the late George and Rose (nee Cimadamore). Beloved brother of Joseph (Michelle), brother-in-law of Patricia (Jim) and John (Mary-Kate). Loving uncle of Alexis, Carisa, Michelle, Steven, Brandon, Christian, Juliette & Sean. Dearest son-in-law of Joanne Devlin (and the late John).
