Jim Alary Medical Fundraiser

A dear friend to so many, Jim Alary, is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a Thailand Hospital. He contracted covid. Although he purchased insurance, the medical expense is being denied by the insurance company, claiming pre-existing condition. The cost for his care is currently $1,000 Cdn a day.

He's in very serious condition, but just today, we have hope in the form of a little good news from the hospital. He's been hit hard by the lung infection and the cascading effect on the rest of his body. Today, he's a little better than yesterday, yet it's a very very long road to recovery. The care team's next goals are to get him off the ventilator and out of the ICU.

If you know Jim ("Jimbo", "Big Jim", "Jimmy B"), you have a friend. He's one of the most kind and generous people you have ever met. He's always there to help out a friend or acquaintance. For years while living in Jasper, Canada, he opened his home to so many that just needed a place to stay for a while.

He makes the extra effort to keep up with so many people. He's an a good listener for anyone who needs to talk. He hops in his white Ford and crosses provinces to make sure he has quality time with family and friends. He's ground central if you want an update on how anyone he has met over the years is doing.

Well the Jimmy that has never asked anyone for anything needs our help now. We want our dear friend to get well and back home to Canada where he can enjoy his retirement and where his care will be covered.
