Jignesh Patel Memorial Fund

This week we lost our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Jignesh Patel after his 13 year battle with a rare cancer.  Despite facing daunting odds since the date of his diagnosis, Jignesh battled on with a degree of courage and grace that continues to inspire those who knew him.

In addition to facing numerous surgeries and therapies throughout the years, Jignesh continued to care for patients in his community in South Jersey.  As a hospitalist, he cared for people often with dire conditions and successfully helped thousands of patients recover and be discharged from the hospital.

He was diagnosed when he was 30 years old and his twin boys were just a year old, but he battled on to see them grow up into wonderful young men.  He is also survived by his loving wife.

This fund is to support Jignesh's family and his sons' education.
