Wow, how do we compact an almost 7 year journey to parenthood into a brief story? There have been so many twist, turns, ups and downs, excitements and disapointments.
We were married in June of 2007. We always have wanted a family, but before trying to add little ones to the mix, we wanted to have a strong foundation in each other. We got more than we bargained for. After years of trying to start our own family we discovered that, due to medical reasons, we would not be able to conceive. Our hearts were broken! Years of mourning followed.
When the healing process finally took over, we decided to revisit the possibility of starting our family. There were several options, all of which are quite expensive and intimidating. We sorted through it together, and ultimately we decided to pursue adoption.
We have so much love to give, and there are so many children out there in need of that love. We know God has a plan for us; that all of our grief and pain is preparing us for the greatest joy! We can't wait to meet our little bundle of love :) To do so, we need your help.
We don't like to ask for anything, and have made it through so much in our years if marriage standing on our own two feet. However, adoption is expensive! (our fees total $20,000+!! We have already received some donations and tucked money aside which brings us to the remaining $14,000) Your support, in any amount, is greatly appreciated! If you can't contribute monetarily, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
