Foundation Todos Juntos 32V’s partner, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered in the U.S. is a long-time partner of 32 Volcanes , a Guatemalan non-profit association that seeks social and environmental sovereignty and well-being through cultural transformation of life.
32 Volcanes works to strengthen communities in the Western Highlands of Guatemala through regenerative development programs focused on health, education, the environment, food sovereignty, and access to culture and art. By supporting us, you are actively engaging in building sustainable communities and breaking the cycle of poverty & scarcity.
50% of Guatemalan children suffer from chronic malnutrition. This is one of the six highest rates in the world, on par with Afghanistan and YemenCoronavirus is deepening Guatemala’s malnutrition crisis. It has shut down much of Guatemala’s informal economy, causing precarious incomes to plummet and food prices to rise. 32 Volcanes is tackling this head-on.
Your tax-deductible donation to our U.S. partner will go directly to deliver emergency nutrition supplements to hard-hit rural communities and provide seed capital for Maya communities to put their ancestral knowledge into practice with long-term food sovereignty projects.
Maya Mam community leaders like Doña Luisa are ready to go to work to raise nutritious crops, install clean water filters, and create sustainable change. They know what needs to be done and how to do it. They simply need capital.
