Jessica Riordan and family were our neighbors at our previous residence for almost 20 years. Jessica has always been close to my children, and myself ,she was like a daughter to me.
Jessica just turned 38 years old October22 , 2020. On Saturday evening October 24, 2020 . Jessica unexpectly passed away at her home , from what is known to be a massive heart attack. She was told she needed heart surgery but the procedure had not taken place. Jessica, was the care giver for both her elderly parents. Her father Rick which is disabled and Helen her mother, which is scheduled for knee replacement surgery. Both are in need of financial assistance and assistance with care. They have very limited income and are unable to afford funeral expenses. The funeral home had directed them to the Trustees office for possible financial assistance . I now know that Jessica's creamation will be paid for. But only the cremation. She will be returned to her parents in a temporary box. It would had been nice to had a service for her but finances are not there. I hope to raise enough money for an urn for Jessica , To have a "Celebration of Life" for her. Purchase a necklace for her mother for Jessicas remains. Helen Jessica's mother, would love to have a large portrait of her daughter. Home care at least until health insurance may pay for them. I hope to see them receive enough help that they could pay 1 month rent if not 2 since f her parents lost Jessica's income.
My family and I decided to start this fund to try and help the family . Jessica was Fun, Loving Soul with a heart of Gold ! Sad that her heart gave out !She is missed so much already! Her parents have no idea we are doing this for them. I do keep in contact with them usually daily at this time. We just want to be able to help them through this difficult time the best way possible.
