Jesse's Bar Mitzvah Wish - Costa Rica Dog Shelter Fundraiser

My Bar Mitzvah is coming up, and instead of a big party, my mom and I are going to Costa Rica.

She’s got some adventures planned for us, but I also wanted to do something meaningful for this milestone so we're also volunteering at the Animal Love shelter for a couple of days. They have a ton of animals there – over 450 dogs and 250 cats, plus a bunch of other stuff like goats and donkeys. A lot of them have been hurt or abandoned.

So, for my Bar Mitzvah, instead of presents, I'm hoping to raise some money for them. They've asked for collars and leashes, which we'll buy when we're there. I'm also excited to help out at Animal Love by walking some dogs and giving them medicine and lots of love.
