Jeremy Goss Family - Injury Relief
Donation protected
On September 26 Jeremy Goss was in a horrible job-related accident. The metal barrel he was working on exploded, striking him in the head, chest and arm. The explosion was so severe and loud that pieces of the barrel were found outside across the street, and people 2 streets away called the police reporting an explosion or gunshot. Jeremy suffered a severe skull fracture and was immediately life flighted to a trauma center in Phoenix where he underwent immediate brain surgery to remove pieces of bone that were embedded in his frontal brain lobe. The surgeon was able to reconstruct most of his front skull using bone pieces retrieved during the surgery and with the aid of a metal plate and wire mesh. Jeremy has regained consciousness and is able to respond to questions, though he is currently intubated (on a breathing machine), and his eyes are too swollen to see properly. Although we are highly optimistic about the future, we do not know if any memory loss or permanent physical or mental impairment may result from this accident.
Jeremy is a loving and devoted husband and father to Sara and their 4 children. They have been extremely active in the community, both as small business owners and through giving service and donations to everyone they can. They currently run a small arts and crafts store in Lakeside, AZ with most of the artwork, including hand-crafted metal pieces and wood engravings, created by Jeremy himself. This is an especially critical time for an injury as Jeremy was just starting to prepare this year’s stock of metal and wood crafts for sale during the busy holiday season. As he will be unable to work for many months as he recovers, this is a very challenging time for his family.
We invite any who have the means, especially any who have been touched by the love and service of Jeremy’s life, to join with us as Family to help care for him, his wife, and their children while he is recovering.
