Jennifer's Healing From Stage 4 Cancer Fundraiser
Spende geschützt
Hi Everyone,
Regina Strayhorn here. I love my sister Jennifer, and right now she's going through a hard time. She was diagnosed with a Synovial Sarcoma last March , which was removed in May. If you donated to that fundraiser we did in 2020 after her first surgery- thank you so so much. She used the money to fix her car (a necessity in Raleigh, NC) and pay bills.
It meant so much and really helped. In May of this year a small nodule was spotted and marked for monitoring in her right lung. In August, it had doubled in size and brought a new friend to the left lung. In September the first nodule was removed during surgery, and last week a third nodule was found. Synovial sarcoma is highly resistant to chemotherapy, so the plan is to continue surgical removal until that's not longer an option.
This cancer is stage four, extremely rare and difficult to treat. But Jennifer is fighting and healing like a champion. And it's my hope to show her that she's not alone in fighting this. My sister is undergoing several surgeries, and that means she can't work. I'm asking for help to raise money for her. I wish we lived in a place where being sick didn't break the bank- but sadly, we don't. She's fighting a rare and difficult to treat cancer- I hate that finances are a worry right now, but they are. But we can help her heal by taking some money stress off her plate so she can focus on what she needs to do to get healthy again.
Please help me in showering her in love and support. Whatever you can give, even if it's $5, is deeply appreciated and the love is felt. Thank you for the positive vibes and support- I know this means a lot to her.
Jennifer, we love you.
