As many of you know, I lost the vision in my right eye last year due to complications from Endocarditis. I had multiple surgeries that included a cornea transplant and retinal victrectomies. This past April 2017, I had another cornea transplant due to a rupture that leaked out of the oil bubble placed in my eye.

This transplant is being rejected by my body and unfortunately, I need another surgery this June. They are doing what they can to save the eye.

I have good health insurance thanks to my job as a teacher, but it is still not enough to cover the medical expenses. Quite frankly, I need help. I hesitated doing this because I like to think I can handle whatever life throws at me. But on a teacher's salary, I am overwhelmed with the bills. So I'm asking, quite humbly, for help.
