Jennifer Erickson Needs our Support for Medical Treatment

Hello Community,

Our dear Jennifer Erickson needs our help! Jennifer was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that has impacted her greatly causing debilitating symptoms on a frequent basis. The tumor needs to be removed, which requires surgery. Catherine Jones and I recently had the opportunity to visit Jennifer in Salzburg this month and can contest to the impacts this diagnosis has on Jennifer and her overall well-being.

The health care system in Salzburg, Austria is challenging to navigate and the costs to operate on the brain tumor to remove along with the accompanied MRIs and check-ups are very high. So we asked her if she would be comfortable if we reached out to the loving community that she's supported for so many years to see if we all can come together to help her financially on the surgery. She reluctantly agreed.

Let's show her some support, as she has shown us all for so many years. Jennifer's been a beacon of the Alberta Arts neighborhood, the Sabin school community and the Farmers Market community here in Portland. She not only raised many fundraisers in these communities but has supported international initiatives where she networked with folks and used her knowledge and brought us all together.

Many of you know her, her amazing son Nils, and the heart and care she's given this community for years. I know she would be forever grateful for your support during this tough time.
