Jeffrey's Heart Transplant

We are seeking money to help us with a heart transplant for Dad. We have some medicare insurance but there are many additional costs that we will need help covering like medications and pre-operative procedures that are not covered and are expected to be paid out of pocket. He has informed us that he doesn't want to saddle us with a huge debt and would rather pass on than leave us to pay for the next twenty years.

In the last 4 years our family has suffered through two hip replacments and two family members with breast cancer. Now our father, and  fearless leader, needs a heart transplant. The financial burden of all of these medical problems has been over whelming and we are most concerned with getting enough money for medications and the multitude of coincidentals that arise along the way to his heart transplant.  We promise to track the progress of his journey back to health. He is otherwise a healthy individual that has managed to beat the smoking habit and has not had a drink of alcohol for 8 years.

Neither of his offspring have married or had any children. We would really like to have him here to give his daughter away and rock a few babies.  Plus, he is a good guy that does not deserve to miss the September years of his life.
