Dear Friends:
As most of you are aware, we have lost a dear friend, Jeff Slonim, Class of '78. As we try and digest this tremendous loss, many Stuart alum have come forward wanting to do something in memory of Jeff and our fondness for him. His family have reached out for assistance to defray costs of his children's education. Finbarr just started his first semester at Lewis and Clark in Oregon and Declan is a junior in high school in NYC. Jeff was fiercely proud of his wonderful wife Fiona and kids, and a tremendous father who cared first and foremost about his family. He was a kind and caring man to anyone who was fortunate to have even a quick chat. He had a huge heart which we all knew well, and kept in touch with many: taking the time to write personal cards, pick up the phone, extend sympathies for those of us who have lost our parents, and so much more.
To honor Jeff, this GOFUNDME account was set up as a way to assist his beloved family at this most difficult and tender time. Give as you can in the spirit of your memories. Those we will have and cherish always.
The funds collected in this campaign will be designated as the STUART ALUM gift towards the Jeffrey Slonim Educational Fund. Please feel free to share with other alum that may feel so moved.
