Jeff McGrew's Throat Cancer Fund

Hi, I’m Jeff McGrew’s dad with news of Jeff and his current battle with cancer.

After 7 years of being cancer free, Jeff McGrew was re-diagnosed with Throat Cancer in December.

After consultations with Oncologists and Surgeons in Orange County and UCLA, Jeff returned to his previous Doctors at Moores Cancer Center/University of California San Diego.

The team of Doctors at Moores directed Jeff to have Proton Therapy as the best choice for a cure of his throat cancer, at the California Protons Cancer Therapy Center in San Diego.

Jeff has a start date for Proton treatment on Wednesday, May 24. The treatments are 2 times per day, Monday thru Friday for 6 to 8 weeks. Each treatment is about 30 minutes. There will also be Chemotherapy - to be scheduled. During this 6-8 week period lodging in San Diego is required.
