My wife now 35 years old, a loving mother of 3 kids and a great wife and partner has been nothing but a strong human being fighting for her life since the moment she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer 2 1/2 years ago. She has had major surgeries to remove the cancer, several chemotherapy sessions, radiation and gone through numerous emergency room visits that I cannot even count anymore. She has been nothing but a true fighter and to this day she has been the one holding the family together by continuing to get up every morning to take our kids to school, cook and care for our home, but after months of being in remission the cancer came back. She was told more chemo was to be done and she has followed all instructions given by the doctor. Through it all, losing her hair, taking several medications daily, her bladder no longer working due to radiation and having pains that she cannot tolerate, being unable to sleep, but still moving forward, it came down to her last medical appointment on 11/30/2015 where the doctor said to me that I need to think about who will take care of my 3 children because my wife doesn't have much time.
Medically the doctor said there is nothing else they can do and it is only a matter of time. Only pain management and then the worst. We refuse to give up this battle and have opted for alternative treatment which can be expensive, but we are not giving up and will do everything possible to prolong life so that our children can have their mother many more years to come. We have faith in God and only he knows when it's time.
Our goal is to win this battle and money can give us that option. She will be traveling, she will be treating and she will survive, but it all cost money. There isn't words to express how thankful we are for all the support we have gotten through all this. The numerous suggestions on what she can drink or eat. We are thankful for every single person who has prayed and kept our family in their thoughts. And this time I ask that you help, not by donating if it's not something you can do, but sharing this life story with anybody you know who can. My family, my kids, Lily, Anthony and Danny, myself and most definitely my wife Lilian Jazmin Zelada will forever be thankful that we gave it all we had, every single effort possible and that not for one minute we gave up.
