Jasper's World Tree

Over the past two years, Jasper’s World Tree has stood in Robson Park lighting up the holiday season and bringing our community together. This year, amidst a global pandemic, the value in finding safe opportunities for people to be outside, in a positive and festive environment is immeasurable. Our community will need the World Tree this year and we need your help ensuring this tradition continues.

We are raising funds for the purchase of additional LED dark-sky compliant lights for the tree, placement of the lights on the tree, and transportation of a large tree to the site.  (Our 2019 tree was wonderful, but a little small - we are going big again in 2020!)

This initiative continues to be entirely organized by our small group of volunteers and we need your financial support to carry on this wonderful tradition.

2018 - Community members hang homemade ornaments on the tree and enjoy a visit with their neighbors.
2019 - School and daycare children hang handmade ornaments during the day and parents come to see them in the evening.
2018 - our first ever Tree Lighting Ceremony.  2020 ceremony will look much different with social-distancing a priority!
