Jason Messina falls on tough times

Donation protected
As many of you know, my old friend, Jason Messina, has been a partner in crime for many years. Weve traveled the world together. We make fun of each other mercilessly and, despite having some great brothers by blood, Jason is the brother I have by choice. What people don't understand is that Jay and I mock each other for the things that don't matter. He calls me a chinless a-hole. I call him fat. The reality is that we've known each other long enough to know the things that really hury. For example, I would never ridicule Jay because he had to eat ketchup sandwiches as a kid. I would never make fun of his because a parental figure rejected him over his body shape. In fact, these are the things that give Jay character and make him who we know and love.

It recently came to my attention that Jay was laid off of work. Jay and his wife, April, had to make a decision a few years ago.... do they want strangers caring for their children or do they want April, a trained child teacher, to handle the task. They've been living paycheck to paycheck ever since. Plus they have two additional mouths to feed in Matthew and Nolan (and Nolan takes after his dad!). Jay is a man of pride that wishes to provide for his family and it's just a matter of time before he's back in the game with a new job but he will need assistance until then. Jay would give you the shirt off his band. It may be sweaty and it may be a 1986 Red Sox American League Championship shirt but he will give it to you nonetheless.

Obviously the faster funds are provided the easier it makes it for Jay and his family.

I don't want to see Jay back in the welfare line like he was as a kid. He's come too far and he's worked too hard for that. My hope is that contributions will help avoid that and offer a big of savings for their future.

I can't thank anyone that contributes enough. Trust that you will be help a good guy and a great family get their footing during this difficult time. Thank you.
