Janet's Metastatic Cancer Journey

Hi,

As you may know, Janet is like a second mother to me. She is someone that has helped me grow up and helped me raise my kids while I worked and went to school. Many don't know, but for the last year and a half, she has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer like the champ that she is (with metastasis to her liver, lungs and abdomen), but more recently she developed a new very aggressive mass in her pelvic region that has taken over. She is hospitalized and needs all the prayers she can get. The medical costs of this battle has been burdensome, but Tom has been able to handle it by working overtime. With the additional expenses of an extended hospital stay and a poor prognosis, I am asking for donations to let the financial burden be the last of their worries at this time. She has always been a private person and has taken on the battle without asking for help, but today I am asking on her behalf.... even if she gets mad at me, because in the end I know she will be glad to see the love and will appreciate a little financial relieve and less for her and Tom to worry about.

Thank you in advance for any help and support, it really means a lot. I will make sure to read her all the messages that she gets, knowing very well she will be complaining that I did this but also loving the love. Your words and support will hopefully bring some much-deserved warmness to her heart.
