My name is Janelle Catchpole and I am 12 years old. I live in Whyalla with my mum (Belinda Catchpole). I am currently a year 7 student.
I have a passion for sport and would love to pursue it as a career one day. Today I would like to tell you about my hockey. I started playing hockey as an U8 when I was 7 years old. I am currently playing for U13 Girls, U16 Girls, U16 Boys, B Grade Women and A Grade Women teams in Whyalla. I have also been selected to represent our district by playing for The North West Rangers in both Barossa and Adelaide.
I have received an invitation to be part of an international tour to Fiji in December 2025. I will be representing Australia in their U14 squad.
This is a very exiting opportunity for me to excel in the sport I love.
