Jamie's Fundraising Finish Line

Two years of running towards a goal, and it’s only two months away! The NYC Marathon on November 7th will be the 50th Anniversary event and my first official race!

Once an inspired spectator and now a soon-to-be participant, I was compelled to train for something I never thought I could accomplish. From not being able to jog for more than a minute when I first had the idea, to currently trotting up to three and a half hours at a time... today I believe I can.

Commitment to myself, encouragement from others, and the support from those to come are all things I do not take for granted.

I’m grateful to have been accepted into one of only five LiveOnNY charity spots, as it was the sole organization I envisioned fundraising and running for. Their focus on organ donation is especially close to my heart, being connected to both donors and recipients, here and in heaven.
