Jamezz Johnson was a beloved son, brother, and friend of many. Whether he was playing football or helping his father by volunteering at the food bank, Jamezz's warm personality made everyone around him smile.
It is devastating to lose such a young and bright light from our community. To support Jamezz's family with such as sudden and painful loss, we want to offer the opportunity to cover the funeral expenses and let his family know that we are here to help.
Jamezz's father, James Johnson-Gruspe, has dedicated his life to supporting our community from managing the Rainier Valley Food Bank, to coaching football, to mentoring youth. In every aspect of his life, he embodies the meaning of love and community. During this heartbreaking time, we want to wrap our arms around James and his family to let them know we have his back just as he has always had ours.
