James Burrell Builders Merchant is delighted to announce that their staff have chosen Tiny Lives and the Brittle Bone Society to support during 2022.

Staff will be carrying our various fundraising activities such as coffee mornings, sponsored walks, the great north run, golf day and competitions.

Tiny Lives offer a safety net for parents who have entered a world completely out of their control. Having a baby that is born prematurely or sick can be a truly world-shaking experience. They supply items, funds, staff specialists and support to the RVI Neonatal Unit in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, helping to make the Neonatal experience a little easier and more comfortable for parents, babies, siblings and family. Once you become part of our Neonatal family, you have our support – forever.

Brittle Bones Society support the needs of people born with the rare condition Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), and their families in the UK and Republic of Ireland. They work towards improving the quality of life for people diagnosed with OI by providing emotional support, signposting and information, financial help for wheelchairs and equipment, and raising awareness of the condition.
