Jake French Racing Fund

A tremendous opportunity has been presented to me and as a racer, is so huge I can’t see passing it up.  Italian based, Factory Intrepid has offered me a spot on the Intrepid Team as a participant in the 2014 CIK-FIA International KZ2 Super Cup, October 9 – 12 in Sarno, Italy. 

Some of you know me as a NASCAR Truck racer having competed at Houston Motorsports Park over the past 2 seasons and others know of my 10-year history in kart racing.  Karts is where it started for me and where I have racked up multiple national titles, competed in worlds and turned pro at age 15.  With the  assistance of Champion Racing and Joe Butcher, BWFS NASCAR Truck owner I have been able to compete in both karting and HMP NASCAR Trucks for the 2014 season.  Most recently I had the opportunity to race against the same European drivers I will compete against in Italy at events held here in Texas and in California. This opportunity is what kart racers dream of and here it is, available to me.

As an 18-year old, high school graduate, living at home and working at Whataburger, fundraising is seriously needed here!  All travel, living, CIK International license renewal and karting expenses for me and my personal chaperone, Dad, is estimated at a cost of $10,000.
