Jacobson Family Continued Battle With Cancer
Donation protected
It is with great sorrow I reach out to our community once again. The Jacobson family has seen too many unimaginable battles the past 3 years, and it seems their battles are far from over. Their oldest son, Derek, fought Stage III cancer the same year their middle son, Cody, fought stage IV cancer. When both Cody and Derek successfully beat their afflictions, we thought the battles were over. Unfortunately, they were not. Derek’s cancer has returned and is now terminal. The countless hospital stays and experimental cancer treatments through Mayo have caused a significant financial strain in our world. Money is empty and unimportant, yet we need it in today’s world to survive.
I hope our our community and beyond can assist me in releasing the Jacobson’s of the burden of money in order for them to focus on what’s really important—the time left as a complete family unit. Please, if you can find it in your heart to give, I will be forever grateful. To those who donated in the past, brought food for the family, mowed the lawn, helped sanitize their house, and came to benefits for the cause, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
