On March 2nd, 2021, we lost our beloved Son and Brother Jack Owens. At that moment we knew our lives would never be the same again. Jack had many talents and enjoyed so much of what life had to offer to him. He was a talented Athlete and Soccer player, Drummer and Lego aficionado. He was also a friend to many and much loved in the Forest Hills School district and with his Soccer team, Cincy SC.
We have no reason for Jack’s death; misadventure or an intentional act, driven by a sadness or pain that he concealed from us, and those that knew him. What we do know is that he is no longer with us. We have a multitude of memories and moments we can draw strength from and our Love for him will never, ever diminish; that one decision does not define him.
As Jack’s parents, we are setting up this Memorial Fund in the hope that we can create a lasting legacy that will have an impact for years to come, allow us to foster something positive out of this devastating loss and make a difference in peoples lives, especially in areas that were of interest to Jack.
