Jack Maguire Memorial Dedication Fund

Hello, my name is Joseph "Jay" Cigna. I created this GoFundMe page to raise money to install a memorial plaque to John “Jack” Maguire, a police officer and longtime resident of Hathaway Acres, on a stone by the Hathaway Acres walking trail in Wilmington, MA. Jack, who enjoyed these woods and trails often, made the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of his duty to protect and serve on December 26, 2010. Over 75 individuals, organizations and service groups donated to the Jack Maguire Memorial Dedication Fund.

Thank you for all who attended our dedication on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 10:00 am in front of the Jack Maguire Memorial. My thanks to all who donated time, refreshments and monument preparation for the dedication. I wanted to thank all the representatives of public service organizations who attended. I am delighted to say that the goal to complete the Jack Maguire Memorial is now completed.

I hope that when we, as community neighbors, come to enjoy our time by the memorial in Hathaway Acres, we will remember Jack always. Please come and see the memorial and walk the trail established in Jack Maguire's name.
