Thank you for taking the time to view this.  My name is John Heckler.  Currently I am a Junior at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, CA as well as a Life Scout in Troop 772.  I am working on my final rank in Boy Scouts - the rank of Eagle.  In addition to other requirements, achieving this rank requires the completion of an Eagle project.  

My leadership responsibility entails selecting a project, raising funds, and lastly, leading a work crew to build and assemble the chosen project.  I chose to build 6 tennis benches for the tennis courts at JSerra Catholic HIgh School.

For the six benches, I have chosen high quality materials that are beautiful, durable, and low maintence.  The materials I will use are ecofriendly and do not come from endangered forests.  These benches will provide a well needed addition to the courts for our Jserra tennis players for many years.

My proposed budget of $4,000.00 includes all building supplies for the project.  The materials will be purchased from Home Depot which has given my project a generous discount.  Any surplus funds will be donated to the Jserra Tennis program.
