Christmas for the homeless

First we want to say thank you to everyone who donated to supply our handout last month, it was a success. They were very appreciative for all the donations, but some had some specific requests. We want to do Christmas time a little different then our last handout. We want to provide them with some needs along with a small gift. Who just wants toiletries for Christmas? I remember before my great Grandmother passed she would give us kids a pair of socks every year, although I was appreciative I was always a little bummed. Lol...We are looking to fill 100 stockings full of travel size toiletries, a $10.00 McDonalds gift card, candy or a non-perishable snack and a Christmas card. Lets pull together to make this possible for those who are less fortunate than we are.  If you feel led please either donate or share this page. Any amount will help us get to our goal. Thank you!!!

We need items by: Friday, December 18th 

What we need:

Stockings 14-16 inches long and 6-8 inches wide (yes they can be old/used)
Travel size toiletries 
A couple bags of individually wrapped candy (preferably not chocolate)
Money to load 100 $10.00 McDonalds gift cards
Hand warmers 
Gloves or mittens
Toboggans
A deck of playing cards

Men and Women's shoes (all sizes/old or new its up to you). We understand these wont fit in the stockings . The #1 requested item when we were there last were shoes and we would love to have some in our cart to give out.
