On September 5, 2014 Aevery and Mason were placed with their Uncle Dean after family circumstances made it impossible to live where they were. The children are happy and are thriving with their Uncle. Finally getting medical care, educational support and lots of cuddles in this warm and loving household of 5.
After many promises made by the Alaskan Department of Child Services that there would be financial help available, to date nothing has been approved and due to yet another clerical error on the part of Alaska-OCS no funding has been made available and they will not be allowed to re-apply until January with no guarantees. The kid's Uncle receives no support from the parents, and has now completely depleted all accounts that he had. His mother and other brother have become financially strained by this and the only option left is to separate the boys into other foster families which will devastate not only their uncle but Mason. He cherishes his baby brother Aevery and it will damage him irrepairably to be separated.
At this time, we are asking that if you can spare a few dollars to help this family it would be much appreciated. There are bills such as phone, electric, transportation costs as well as much needed funds for food for this family.
