Irish Defence Forces Veterans have served around the world on peacekeeping missions for over 60 years.

We have served continuously in Lebanon since 1978, where we have assisted the Lebanese population through the provision of humanitarian assistance whilst serving within the UNIFIL AO (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Area of Operations).  Now we would like to help the people of Beirut. 

All proceeds will be donated through the Irish Red Cross who will directly transfer to The Lebanese Red Cross as their people are on the ground in Beirut helping those who need it most. 

This is what we do. Irish Defence Forces, Veterans,  families, friends and comrades who, by donating to this "Go Fund Me" will be helping those caught up in this tragic disaster.  

This is the quickest and safest way to transfer the funds. This GoFundMe page will close at 1200 hrs on Monday 31 August and the funds in totality will be presented to Jocelino Jorge, Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Irish Red Cross.
